Possible Room Set-up Configurations

The goal of ECC is to be as flexible as possible when accommodating requests for room set-ups and there are plenty of options from which to choose. The following set-ups are options for conference rooms with movable furniture.

Please note that several rooms at The Pyle Center have fixed furniture arrangements and cannot be modified (schematic diagrams follow the optional room setup diagrams below).

In addition, some rooms are normally set up in a "standard" configuration that is considered to be optimal for the particular space. Typically, with the exception of the reception lounges at The Pyle Center, there is no charge for the initial room set-up. However, additional fees may apply if something drastically different from the "standard set-up" is required, or if there are last-minute changes or major mid-day alterations to the room configuration.

The following set-ups are options for conference rooms with movable furniture:

  • Workshop or Classroom (WS)
    • Where Workshop is the normal (N) set up, capacities are based on two seatings per table (table sizes vary by room)
  • Herringbone (HB)
    • Where Herringbone is the normal (N) set up, capacities are based on seven seatings per table
  • Theater or Lecture, (LEC)
  • Banquet (BQ)
  • U-shape, (US)
  • Conference or Hollow-square (HS)
  • Chevron (CHV)
  • Semi Circle (SC)
  • Circle (CIR)
  • Boardroom (BD)
  • and others
