The Lowell Center Meeting Spaces
Room Descriptions
Upper Lounge
We host many receptions in our Upper Lounge. Both casual and formal events are held here. Comfortable seating and a relaxed environment creates a space for both quiet conversations and festive occasions.
Dining-room Lounge
The Dining-room Lounge is situated outside of the main dining area on the lower level. This space is sometimes used as a reception area for those going to dinner. It also can accommodate its own food and beverage service, such a buffet. Food may then be taken into the adjacent dining room.
Lower Lounge Conference Room
The Lower Lounge Conference Room is an innovative space featuring whiteboards on three walls and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Langdon Street on the other.
Conference Rooms
B-1A and B-1B Conference Rooms are located on the lower level. These rooms can be used separately or combined into one large meeting space. They can be set up in any standard seating arrangements.
Meeting Room
Meeting Room 118 is located on the first floor.
Board Rooms
Board Rooms 115, 116, and 117 are of similar shape and size. They are set up with one large conference table and chairs, and offer a perfect setting for small meetings or breakout sessions of up to 12 people.
Dining Room
The Dining Room of The Lowell Center is the largest of the University of Wisconsin-Extension Conference Centers' dining rooms with a capacity of 400. It is the location for many formal events, as well as luncheons, award banquets, and other festivities. It is on the lower level and can accommodate a variety of special events as well as conference meals.
