Check Cashing for International Visitors:

Checks drawn on U.S. banks may only be cashed at the bank (or a branch of the bank) that the check was drawn on. You will need your passport for identification.

United States Post Office:

The closest U.S. Post office to The Lowell Center is located at 441 N. Lake Street, just south of the intersection of State and Lake.  Open M-F 10am-6pm and Sat. 11:30am-4pm. Click here for a street map.


The Lowell Center has parking available for hotel guests only. Conference attendees without hotel parking can purchase nearby parking thru The Pyle Center just down the street from Lowell. Call The Pyle Center Front Desk at (608) 262-1122 or stop by to inquire about parking.

Disabled Parking:

Generally, drivers with State of Wisconsin disabled permits or DIS and VET plates may park in the disabled parking stalls near the conference center and at the meters (if over 30 minutes) without paying an additional fee. Customers with special needs are encouraged to contact their meeting coordinator to make appropriate arrangements.

Sport/Recreational Facilities:
The University of Wisconsin-Madison campus welcomes visitors to use their recreational facilites (Guest Policy). To use the facilities you will need to show your conference name tag and pay a guest fee of $5.00 and be 18 years of age.

The SERF (Southeast Recreational Facility) is located at 715 West Dayton Street, 608-262-8244, and includes Indoor Track - 3 lanes, 1/10 mile , 4 Gymnasiums, 10 Racquetball Courts (Courts 1 & 2 are wheelchair accessible), 63 Meter Pool, Weight Room, Cardio Center, Fitness Training Room, Group Fitness Studio, Group Cycle Room.

The Natatorium at 2000 Observatory Drive, 608-262-3742, features a 25 yard, 8 lane Pool with Diving Well, 4 Gymnasiums, 5 Racquetball Courts, Weight Room, Cardio Center, Fitness Training Room, Group Cycle Room, Parcourse Fitness Circuit.
